¶ Summary
Staying true to the Guristas philosophy of combining missiles and drones in combat, the Komodo is unique in that it can command one squadron of heavy fighters and one squadron of light fighters, with the hull bonuses giving each squadron the damage of two, as well as doubling their durability. The Komodo is the only Titan to feature a resist bonus with its 4% shield resist bonus per level of Caldari Titan. Thanks to that resist bonus, the Komodo's faction hitpoint increase, Sov upgrades, Implants, and weather, the Komodo is the tankiest ship in the entire game, able to fit a theoretical maximum of up to 352 million EHP without overheating hardeners. By overheating the hardeners a maximum of 582 million EHP then becomes temporarily possible. Despite this, however as of 10 April 2026, 6 Komodos have died in the game zKillboard, more than any other faction titan except the Vanquisher. 4 of those Komodos died due to being caught without adequate support and another, a Fraternity Komodo, was killed during an ambush dread bomb by almost 200 Imperium dreads.
